One of the largest manufacturers of table-top autoclaves and sterilizers reported high failure rate and reliability problems with the steam trap being used. Therm Omega Tech developed a custom designed thermostatic steam trap that assured that the autoclave operates within FDA regulations while eliminating reliability problems. This actuator requires no batteries or external power source and was done within the autoclave O.E.M.’s budget.
